Specifically:

  • Delivering operational support and process improvement solutions to large corporate law department(s).
  • Designing, implementing and using metrics and your analytical skills to identify, recommend and implement tactical/strategic improvement opportunities.
  • Participating and providing support in legal operations initiatives as needed.
  • Are capable of using a variety of methods to analyze data.
  • Supporting the department in broader customer strategic initiatives as needed.

Experience:

  • 1-5 years experience as a business analyst/business consultant or similar finance/operations analytical roles.
  • Working and communicating with legal departments and/or law firms a plus.
  • Supporting strategic, technology, or operational improvements to an organization a plus.

Skills for Success:

  • Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills are required.
  • Experience with leading legal operations systems (e.g., eBilling, contract management, eSignature) and/or business intelligence and reporting tools a plus.
  • Familiarity with artificial intelligence and automation helpful.
  • Experience working with Fortune 500 clients

Education:

Director, Legal Business Services (Dallas)

Job Description

LegalSoft is recruiting a Director of Legal Business Services to work with its US and Global team in providing unparalleled customer service to our Fortune 500 customers. The Director of Legal Business Services will be responsible for maintaining a complete and consistent service experience for LegalSoft’s Legal Business Solutions customers, including our industry Legal Operations service lines. Your primary focus will be internal, working with a large US and Global team to maintain and improve service levels and measure team performance. A successful candidate will be able to demonstrate prior successes in service management, technology solutions, and an aptitude towards learning new and different services.

You might be the right person if you:

  • Have experience managing outsourced or managed service operations.
  • Have a strong grasp of metrics and reporting.
  • Have a strong project management and process improvement background.
  • Have strong presentation skill sets and customer communication experiences.
  • Are comfortable using systems and technology to manage work and analyze results.

Specifically:

  • Overseeing service delivery quality for LegalSoft’s Legal Business Solutions group.
  • Ensuring timelines and commitments to service levels are standardized and met (i.e. SLAs, report delivery, customer meeting cadences).
  • Managing team capacity and maintaining an appropriate utilization.
  • Monitoring, reporting, and improving internal KPIs to ensure service risks or gaps are identified proactively.
  • Leading the reconciliation of any service gaps or risks, working with team managers to improve service delivery where needed.

Experience:

  • 6+ years managing service operations for an outsourced service provider, or as senior management for a captive corporate captive delivery team.
  • 3+ years experience managing large teams.
  • Prior experience in the legal industry is a plus.
  • Prior experience consulting with and providing services to enterprise customers is a plus.

Skills for Success:

  • Ability both to interpret as well as create new KPIs.
  • Ability to lead initiatives to improve service delivery levels.
  • Aptitude to quickly learn and understand new services, develop subject matter expertise, and then improve those services.
  • Strong presentation skills; can develop and quality check presentations to ensure they are well-formatted and comprehensive, yet easy to understand.

Sr. Business Analyst (Dallas)

Job Description

LegalSoft’s Customer, a Global Technology Company, is looking for a Sr. Business Analyst to work full-time at its offices for 9-12 months with its legal works team that builds and deploys technology platforms & solutions to enable the Legal department to execute their business strategy and operate a world class division. The team is involved in the complete software development & deployment lifecycle - analysis, design, building, testing, implementation and support. This includes systems build on the tech stack as well as vendor tool deployments and integrations.

In conjunction with these system deployments, the team also works with the business to identify process, data, and quality improvements. You will work alongside a senior business analyst and collaborate with engineers, clients and vendors to help build products, drive delivery and provide analyst coverage across multiple initiatives.
